inches in santa rosa. three inches in mounted st. helena. san francisco inch and a half and lesser amounts as you head towards the santa clara valley. let's take a look at the five day storm totals. three storms moved in here. you can see mount st. helena, close to 13 inches. santa rosa, close to 8 inches as well as san rafael. san francisco close to 4 inches. oakland close to 4 inches and san jose racked up close to 2 1/2 inches. as you mentioned, another system is headed for the bay area, not as strong. we'll take a look at the timing coming up. >> a scary situation in pescadero. fire crews had to rescue two drivers who's cars got caught on flooded highway 101. it caught maybe many people off guard due to the sudden rise of water. heavy rain is being blamed for an accident that injured four people. three of them are from the fire district. we do want to a warn you. some of the video may be intense for some viewers. >> you can hear the crunch of an out of control vehicle making impact followed by moments of confusion. then screams for help from firefighters kelly morse. she was on

into the cloverdale area. sea ranch getting hit with with heavy rain. santa rosa, stewart's point, very heavy rain coming down there right now. and notice even some light, moderate rain, starting to pick up. towards sausolito. san francisco, light rain, but you can see the cells. the darker green indicating on the map we'll start moving in. daly city and berkeley, piedmont, the claremont avenue area being hit with a good burst of rain, and towards oakley and brentwood, seeing moderate rain. these are cells moving around, and this is actually the warm sector. this is 7:00 tonight. this is the warm sector, the mod rain in the north bay. and a little break around midnight and by 3:00 a.m., this is storm number three. this is 5:00 a.m. heavy rain starting to move down into the north bay. 7:00 a.m., starts to move down to about the golden gate bridge, sfo. 9:00 a.m. heavy rainfall. now starting to move into the east bay. fairfield, concord. notice the clearing that takes place behind the very rapidly, at 11:00 a.m., and then moves on towards the south. of course the concerns up on the riffs and we'll l

, -- 24 hours, clearly this is a north bay storm. over two inches in santa rosa, over one inch petaluma. lesser amounts towards the south bay. i do want to tell you that all of the flood warnings issued for the napa and russian river have been cancelled. our wind advisory and flashflood watches for the bay area have been cancelled as well. but, but more rain in my seven-day forecast. i'll let you know when to expect it. >> ama: we have developing news. two people were rescued on highway 1 near creek road. the highway is underwater. several drivers had to be plucked from rising waters today as the storm caused creeks and rivers to rise quicker than expected. right now the napa river is reaching is highest level in downtown napa. john alston is at veterans memorial park. reporter: napa river is expected to reach its peak level between now and 6:00. however, no flooding is expected in the city of napa. officials and residents are crediting a flood project that is still underway. the sign says flooded, and the vons memorial park was supposed to be closed to the public at a precaution, but t

. santa rosa over two inches and close to four inches in a 24-hour period. san francisco an inch and a half and an inch and a half for oakland. check out concord. over two inches of course lesser amounts as you head south. san jose is close to an inch. you compare these numbers and add them on to the five-day storm total and check these out. close to 13 inches the last three storms. mount saint helena and san rafael, almost 7 and a half inches and close to five inches in napa. even san francisco and oakland close to four inches of rain. that's what we should see in the month and not just in five days. both locations quite a bit of rainfall and close to three inches in san jose. these past three storms gave us a lot, a lot of rainfall. we have another weak system that will move in here as we head into the midweek time frame. it is getting cool with 49 san rafael and 53 in san francisco. we have 47 in livermore. here is a look at what you can expect. a few clouds and cooler overnight. it will be a dry day tomorrow and then more rain moves in on tuesday night and wednesday. lows ton

to about 3:34, that's when the band of very heavy rain will start to usher -- move south, santa rosa, san rafael, check out the 6:00 a.m. time frame, napa, towards san rafael, heading down towards the golden gate bridge. this is 9:00 a.m. it's spreading south towards san jose, morgan hill, santa cruz, and we're on the back side of the system and we'll start to see partial clearing in the north bay, little sunshine expected across the bay area. that's 1:00, and by 3:00, most of this has moved on out of the bay area, and well start to see improving weather conditions, and those winds will start to die down. so morning heavy stormy conditions, tomorrow morning, lisa will be here, morning news, sunday morning, beginning at 5:00 a.m. tune in. check that out. then we dry out sunday night and monday. another chance of some showers by tuesday night, early wednesday, and then another dry day on thursday. yay! >> ama: mike shumann is here with sports, and stanford going rose bowl. >> mike: what a job david shaw has done at stanford. second straight bcs bowl game. cardinal headed to the rose bowl fo
